Privacy Policy
HorseQueeny Academy ("we", "us", "our") operates the educational horse-racing platform at horsequeeny.ai. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you create an account — including signing in with Google — and how we use, share, and protect it.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: your name, email address, and basic profile details provided by your chosen sign-in method (e.g. Google). We request only the scopes needed to authenticate you.
- Usage data: class progress, simulator activity, forum posts, token balance, and interactions you make in the app.
- Payment data: when you purchase a membership or tokens, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Technical data: device and browser information collected automatically when you use the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you (including via Google sign-in).
- To provide, personalise, and improve our educational content and simulator features.
- To process membership and token purchases and send related receipts.
- To respond to support requests and communicate updates about the platform.
- To monitor usage, detect abuse, and keep the platform secure.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help operate the platform — such as Google (authentication), Stripe (payments), and our hosting/analytics providers — each under their own privacy obligations, and where necessary to provide the service, comply with the law, or protect our rights.
4. Google Sign-In
When you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares the profile information you authorise (typically your name and email address) with us. Your Google password is never shared with us. You can revoke our access to your Google profile at any time from your Google account permissions page, and you may delete your HorseQueeny account to have your data removed.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, and understand how the platform is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work correctly.
6. Data Retention & Your Rights
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. If you signed in with Google, deleting your account does not delete data Google retains under its own policies.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised date and, for material changes, notify you through the platform.
